Mission Statement of DVIC

The Delaware Valley Interfaith Council is an association of faith communities from various denominations and traditions and faiths. Our members gather as a community of God that consciously seeks to:

  1. Express our religious commitment to outreach to the larger community through service. In undertaking this pastoral outreach we seek to not do alone, as single faith congregations, that which we can do together. At the same time we seek to encourage, enable and cooperate with services already existing within the larger community.
  2. Provide a forum where there may be an exchange of the richness in the diversity among us. This forum is intended to be a vehicle where we might experience through worship, study, information and service, the fullness of community.
  3. Further the oneness of our humanity under God.

Message from our Leadership

The Delaware Valley Interfaith Council promotes understanding, peace, and respect. We affirm that what unites us is greater than what divides us. We work to create a respectful environment in which earnest people can explore our religious diversity through common worship, mutual education and community outreach.

We invite you to  learn about the faith of others, build community, and join together in serving those in need.
